**In The Streets**

Never underestimate the power of a maxi dress/denim jacket combo!  These pieces for me are what I consider a uniform for the summer.  Living in Michigan, you need to be prepared for crazy weather at all times.  It can be 75 and sunny one minute and then hailing the next!  I always like bringing a cover piece with me when I’m out and about just in case.  However, I don’t think it’s necessary to wear it the predictable way.  You will notice throughout my blog that I like to wear my sweaters and jackets off my shoulders a lot.  You’ll be surprised at how much this little act can change the entire look of an outfit and I hope you can tell by now that I am all about that edgy flare 😉  What I really wanted to feature about this outfit though is this cute little ring bag I found at Home Goods for just $20!!! I initially went there looking for a side table, and of coarse I walk out with a bag lol!  I can’t find the link for it online, but they have a pretty good stock of it in store.  It also comes in a camel color (which I may go back there for!)  Simple nude wedges and a couple of layered necklaces complete the look.  Shop outfit options here:
