**In The Streets**

-“Detroit is like rock and roll.  It’s like soul.  Detroit is like the whole idea of cool.  If you have to explain it to someone, they probably won’t understand.  You have to see it.  Live it.  Be it.  That’s when Detroit starts to move you.”

This look, if not obviously stated is inspired by my love for this incredible city I get to call home.  Detroit is known for it’s rough around the edges exterior with a hint of soft local sparkle.  Contrary to popular belief, there is a lot more to this city than just 8 mile lol.  Stay tuned for some posts I’ll be writing soon on my lifestyle tab that showcase things to do and see in the city!

This look completely defines Detroit in my opinion.  Edge mixed with sass like the personality of every woman that lives here.  The pieces I am wearing are nothing short of staples for us Detroit girls!  I especially love this graphic T I picked up at a local store in the city called “Detroit is the New Black.”  I paired this look with heels, however, you can also do it with flats just to offer a more sporty way to wear it if you prefer.  I put an option for espadrilles down at the bottom.  This is a Saturday night, dinner and rooftop with my girls kind of outfit!  Shop the complete look here:
