**After Dark**
Finally the time has come… my favorite wardrobe season of the year is here!!! Unlike most people that live in Michigan, I get beyond excited when the end of August is here and the temps instantly start to drop. It means that Fall season is fast approaching us! Time for trips to the cider mill, shades of bark throughout the state and pumpkin everything all over the place! Personally, I die for Fall season mainly because of the clothes!! Boots, and scarves and sweaters, oh my! I always find it a bit more challenging to put together full outfits in the summer time, but when Fall hits, your options go from limited to infinite. I wanted to kick the season off with a really chic after dark look. This top made my heart skip a beat when I walked passed it inside of Nordstrom and it didn’t take long before it was being rung up at the checkout counter. Since the top had some ruffle and flounce to it, I thought it’d be best to pair it with a more fitted bottom. This skirt is one of my favorite pieces I own. I wore it back in a past post titled “Bonsoir mademoiselle,” I’m shorter so the length may seem just a tad longer on me, but just check out the size guide when visiting the site to see if you’ll be happy with the length. All black everything else made it easy for the top to become the main focus of this look. I even stuck to a nude lip because I didn’t want anything taking the attention away from it. To be honest, this is the kind of outfit I would probably wear for a weekend away somewhere, like Chicago or NYC, but it definitely works for a nice dinner out or even a fashion chic event.
