**In The Streets**

Casual chic for a day of running errands in the city is a great way to be prepared for anything that comes at you as far as unexpected plans go.  I usually have certain things mapped out on my to do list when it comes to my plans for the weekend, but every once in a while things change up a bit and I find myself doing things that weren’t necessarily planned.  That can include anything from last minute dinner plans, to stopping at a friends house, to coffee dates at one of my many favorite spots in the D!  In order to prepare for a day that might be packed with all of the above, I try to wear outfits that I feel are more versatile and can work for each of these random events.  This outfit is a perfect example of something that works for more lay low things you might do during the day, to more night time activities that require a tad bit of cuteness.  Finding basic pieces that offer edge like that in this frayed hemline skirt will give your look a step up from anything basic.  Shop the complete look here:
